My dear people of God, I bring you greetings in the peerless name of our LORD and Saviour Jesus Christ.
You must have heard from the President's last address that from Monday 4th May, 2020 the Lockdown will be relaxed. This does not mean that CORONAVIRUS is gone or that it has been contained. No! On the contrary, new cases are being reported in the country especially in the North...Kano for example. Therefore take personal responsibility to stay safe. Note that inter-state travels will increase and so will the transfer of the virus if caution is thrown to the wind. So please continue to wash your hands with soup and water, maintain social distancing, use face masks when in public, etc. Prevention is certainly better and cure. Most of all do not stop praying to God our ultimate PROTECTOR.
Moreover, as we weigh what all this may mean to us as believers in Jesus Christ, I am persuaded to think that at least we are at the threshold of a tribulation. This could be a rehearsal of Revelation 13. Therefore be at alert, be sober and consciously prepare to meet the Lord Jesus when He returns as He said He would. ( John 14:1-2). Do not compromise your faith in Jesus Christ because of what this world can afford..it will profit nothing to gain the whole world and loose your soul (Matt. 16:26). On the other hand, if you have not accepted Jusus Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour, now is the time to surrender your life to Him. He is able to keep you safe from death worse than COVID 19.. death in hell fire; the second death (Revelation 21:8).
Please be rest assured that we are praying for your holistic well-being...spirit, soul and body. Stay safe and remain Rapturable.
Your Brother and Bishop,
